NY Boy Wins 10-11 Division HoopShoot and Getty Powell Award

Today, March 26, Joseph Girard III, sponsored by Glens Falls #81, won the Boys 10-11 year-old division and the Getty Powell Award. Joseph shot 25 for 25, to win his division.

Ryggs Johnston of Libby Montana 2231, Grant Allen of Fayetteville-Springdale Arkansas 1987, and Ricard Orozco of Salinas California #614 shot 23 for 25 to force a three-way shoot-off for second place, but Joseph Girard nailed down the first place position with his 25 for 25 performance.

Lily Kamin of Mid Westchester 535 shot 15 for 25 to tie for sixth with Sophie Palladino from Bedford 2844 (Virginia) and Abbey Strait from Watertown 838 (South Dakota).
